Digg Demo with Kevin Rose (2004)

Techcrunch reported this early demo of the very popular people-powered news aggregator Digg. Kevin Rose introduces his site on the show he hosted - The Screen Savers. Kevin does highlight the visual similarities to Slashdot, but explains that Digg is different because the site gives the power of the front page to the community rather than editors.

Michael Arrington, TechCrunch, reports about the early Digg demo stating:

It’s always fun to go back and review vintage video of startups before they’ve rocketed to success. Given the ease of sharing and archiving video clips today, all startups should be sure to take the time to record the early days. And using video to spread the message of your company virally isn’t a bad idea, either.
